THE PROCESS

EQUIPMENT

We elected to go with the Avance 1501C 2020 from ColDesi. After test driving two other machines, almost purchasing one (and happy we didn't), the package deal that came with the Avance was unmatched. So far, we have been able to accomplish everything we have needed. The Avance is designed to run 12 hours a day and we run ours maybe three to four hours a day two to three days a week.

The support we receive from ColDesi is on par with Nordstrom. One a scale to ten; the response time and support is a 12. Here is an example; we had a digitized logo that was giving us some fits. We asked Support about this and an answer was returned to us in the form of a 19-minute video that was created for our response and went into software capabilities, how to manipulate a digitization, along with a couple of other things. And did I mention this video was returned to us inside of two hours? The support from ColDesi is unmatched, period.

About Our Leather

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Sherye and Doug have decided to stitch each logo/project out on a "shop shirt or cap" before they do the actual work for a client. They have been able to correct several unforeseen hiccups that would have damaged the actual garment. Learning about pull tension on shop shirts and caps has been priceless. Doug equates the shop-gear learning to being a pilot and learning something new you never thought about or knew about in the previous hundred hours of flying. Doug flies a Cessna 172 for fun and the creator of one of the aviation YouTube channels he follows has a mantra: "A good pilot is always learning." That same theme applies here; Sherye and Doug have vowed to continually learn and refine their craft of embroidery.
